Alan Quasha

Since 1988 Alan Quasha as served as Director of Compagnie Financière Richemont SA. He was the CEO of North American Resources Limited, which is a joint venture with Richemont SA and the Quasha family, from 1988 until 1998. Mr. Quasha is also the Chairman of HKN, Inc, which is a publicly traded and independent oil and gas company.  He is also presently the Chairman of Carret Asset Management Group; Brean Murray, Carret and Co.,LLC, an investment bank which deals mostly in Chinese and small-cap companies.  Quasha is also the Founding Principal of Vanterra Capital, a global private equity fund, and he is the Chairman of the Brain Trauma Fondation.

In past years Alan Quasha was the Chairman of the Visiting Committee of Harvard University’s Weatherhead Center for International Affairs, past Director of American Express Funds, and a former Governor of the American Stock Exchange.

Quasha was educated at Harvard University and has a B.A. from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, a law degree from New York University Law School and a doctorate of law from Harvard Law School.
