Alan Quasha Biography

Alan Quasha is currently the President of Quadrant Management, a principal alternative investment management firm with $3 billion of interests in the United States, as well as some emerging markets. Alan Quasha is also currently a partner at the private equity firm Vanterra Capital, co-chairman of Carret Asset Management, and chairman of Brean Murray, Carret & Co.

Alan Quasha has spent his career managing investments in dozens of companies around the world. His role with these companies has often involved a hands-on approach as part of significant restructuring and turn-around projects. He has been involved with interests as diverse as Harken, Inc in the energy sector, and Compagnie Financière Richemont SA, a Swiss luxury goods company.

Alan Quasha has also spent time as the Chairman of Harvard University’s Weatherhead Center for International Affairs, as Chairman of the American Brain Trauma Foundation, and as a Governor of the American Stock Exchange. Quasha received his Bachelor’s degree and MBA at Harvard University, followed by a Master of Law degree from NYU Law School and a Doctorate of Law from Harvard Law School.
