led him to participate in the work of the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs. Begun in 1958 as simply the Center for International Affairs, it changed its moniker to its present appellation as a result of and in gratitude to Celia and Albert Weatherhead and the Weatherhead Foundation who bequeathed a bountiful endowment to the Center in 1998.
The Center plays a significant role in understanding and developing solutions to international problems and issues as the largest international research center contained within the esteemed Harvard University Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Taking part in the work that is going on at the Center, which is as relevant now as it was at is founding over 50 years ago, Alan Quasha expresses a concern for the well-being of citizens around the world.
